  • ARTSCAPE: THE ART LIFE - OUT THERE, EP 1 OF 3
The Art Life started life as a blog - www.artlife.blogspot.com and was written by a group of anonymous artists and writers. The blog was launched into the virtual world of the web in 2004 and quickly gained notoriety in art circles for its candid views, enthusiastic support for artists and galleries, and its healthy disdain for the crusty establishment art critics of the old media. The Art Life's readership grew steadily from just a few hundred hits a month to thousands a week. The Art Life is presented by Andrew Frost, the editor and co-founder of The Art Life's blog and who is a middle-aged white guy in a suit who adores banging on about art.

  • PAPER DOLLS: AUSTRALIAN PIN-UPS OF WORLD WAR TWO
Australia during the Second World War is usually pictured as austere, a time of rations and perseverance. Women from this time are often portrayed as domesticated or working for the war effort. Sexuality was dangerous and mentioned only in reference to the allure of the visiting American soldiers. Fashion was negated for the khaki greens and greys of uniforms. This documentary delves into the dark of war and shows how the pinup girls of the time were pictures of hope, of a better time and of people's longing for fun.
